Founder and Product Manager

• Developed from concept an innovative iOS children’s software application designed to enhance reading time by transforming users into the main characters of their favorite adventures.  

• Designed and edited all UI and UX for the application from wireframes to final product using Adobe Suite and Sketch; created Squarespace website; and, produced Facebook advertisements and promotional posts. 

• Hired and managed a team of developers, illustrators, musicians, and voice actors. 

• Scheduled and implemented user interviews to observe use and collect feedback to improve design and functionality. 

• Directed legal strategy with outside counsel relating to Copyright, Patent, Trademarks, COPPA compliance, EULA, as well as temporary employment contracts.  

• Monitors Mixpanel analytics to capture KPIs to verify thesis and inform iterative development process.

• Manage a team of two Archival Producers, four Associate Producers, and six Production Assistants guiding the research, creative, legal, and cross-department collaborative processes. 

• Research, develop, and pitch complete topics and story-telling concepts to talent and show leadership. 

• Curate content with editors for top of show and interstitial materials and manage notes process between content, writing team, and talent. 

• Developed and implemented technological systems for the show including work-flow management software Monday.com and archival resources Snapstream, Critical Mention and NewsExposure. 

• Co-lead meetings with research and episode teams to create a collaborative environment to identify the strongest materials and arguments for each show.

• As the first senior level hire for the show, interviewed and hired most of the Associate level staff and identified and recruited talent across departments.
